Matryoshka

Just as I suspected…this adorable vibe is as surprising as it is cute!  This is the Matryoshka which I raved about the looks of in an older post.  I was lucky enough to get one of these powerful vibes from Babeland to test out (thank you!).  As you can see, the colors available for this vibe are purple, fuchsia, and light pink (looks white in the pic to the left).  It comes with that cute little case to the right of the vibes that doubles as the charging base.  The power chord actually plugs right into the case which has a magnetic charge that connects with the magnets on the base of the Matryoshka.  This enclosed type of charging system allows this to be a totally waterproof vibe!

My Matryoshka is the fuchsia one:

The Matryoshka is about 3.25 inches tall and 2.25 inches wide at its widest point.  The smaller end is about 1.25 inches wide.  There are two buttons on the body of the vibe.  Pressing either one of them will turn the vibrator on.  To  turn it off again, press and hold either button down for a few seconds.  Any time you press a button a light comes on so you know if you are really pressing it.  There is also a travel lock on this vibrator, which is always nice.  If you want to lock it, press and hold both buttons down for about 5 seconds.  When the vibe is locked the light will blink off.  To unlock, do the same and the vibrator will vibrate briefly to indicate that it is unlocked.

Ok, so what else do the two buttons do?  The top button control what type of vibration you will get.  There are five different vibrations:

Vibration 1– Steady vibration

Vibration 2– Slow rolling wave vibration with a brief pause between waves

Vibration 3– Faster rolling wave vibration

Vibration 4– Pulses about a half second apart

Vibration 5– Fast pulses with barely a pause between them

The bottom button controls the intensity of the vibrations.  There are five different intensities and they are all strong.  The highest intensity is insane for the small size of this vibrator !!  To give you an idea of how strong this is, I turned it on the highest intensity on the steady vibration and then turned on the Hitachi on the low setting.  It was just barely less strong than the Hitachi.  To me, that is impressive!!

But the strength and pattern variation aren’t the only things the Matryoshka has going for it.  It is made of body safe silicone (one of my favorite sex toy materials) that is easy to care for.  You can wash it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap or with a 10% bleach and water solution.   It is also totally rechargeable.  The indicator light that lets you know when you are pushing buttons will also flash when the battery is low so that you know to recharge it.  When you place it on the charger, the light illuminates to let you know that it is connected and shuts off when the vibe is fully charged.  You shouldn’t leave the Matryoshka charging for longer the 24 hours, so if you aren’t using it, just unplug it.

The other thing that is awesome about the Matryoshka is its shape.  The small tip is perfect for slipping between your labia to rub against your clit.  The big end acts like a perfect ergonomic handle for you to grasp, rub and ram the smaller end against your clit (if you’re like me).  The small tip can also be used to stimulate any other erogenous zones you enjoy like the nipples.  The tip is firm, so you can apply as little or as much pressure as you’d like.

I personally love all the options that the Matryoshka has.  I personally found that I prefer either the steady vibration with intensity varying depending on my mood and the fast wave or fast pulse.  Sometimes I need high strength and other times I crave a slightly lighter touch.  While all the vibrations are pretty strong, they still give me the variation I need.  I used this one afternoon  and had three orgasms back to back with different settings.  This is definite now one of my favorite vibrators!
