BabeLube Natural

As if Babeland wasn’t awesome enough, they’ve got their own line of products available too.  But these products are also conscious of what their customers look for, ask for, and want.  There’s a lot of talk out there these days about what’s good and bad to have in your lubricant, which is great in my opinion.   I mean, you want to enjoy your intimate bits for as long as possible with as little complications as possible, right?  So when Babeland offered up their BabeLube Natural for review, I was more than happy to try it out.

First, lets talk about what BabeLube Natural has in it.  Its a water-based lube that boasts natural ingredients and organic botanicals.  It doesn’t have glycerin, parabens, or petroleum in it and is safe to use with latex, rubber, and plastic products.  The actual ingredients list reads:  Purified water, plant cellulose (from cotton), aloe barbadensis, natural tocopherols (vitamin E), carrageenan, extracts of hibiscus, flax, green tea, and sunflower seed, citric acid (citrus fruits), potassium sorbate. All of the plant products are certified organic.  So this is pretty much as natural as you can get.  The bottle also says that this is a 100% Vegan lubricant that is cruelty-free.  I really can’t complain about any of that.

The bottle I have is 4.2 fl oz and looks just like the picture, light blue label with the adorable Babeland symbols on a dark blue bottle.  When you first get it, the bottle should have a foil safety seal over the top.  If it doesn’t, you shouldn’t use.  This is advertised as and odorless lube, but it does have a bit of a smell.  The smell of this lubricant is like a clean slightly floral cotton.  The scent is subtle, pleasant, and unnoticeable in use.  There isn’t any flavor to the lube that I can detect.

When you squeeze the lube out, it is nice and thick.  I used it on the Pop Plug which is made of silicone and comes to a small rounded point at the tip.  I put about a dime sized dollop of this on and it stayed put.  It didn’t roll down and get all over my hands, which is totally annoying.  I was able to easily slide the plug in with this lube applied.  I also used this lube on the Jopen Vr9 for insertion, which is also made of silicone.  The BabeLube worked great for thrusting with the Vr9, which previously had been a bit awkward.

One test I always like to do with lubricants is to put it on my finger and then rub my finger and thumb together to see how long it takes for it to get dry or soapy.  It took the lube about a full minute to start to slow down, which is a lot better than many other lubes I’ve done this test with.  Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you’re going to have to reapply after a minute.  This test is on my fingers with no additional moisture, when you’re using it during sex your natural wetness, even just a bit of it, will keep this slick for far longer (as has been my experience).  As with all water-based lubes, you can add water or spit to make it slick again if it does start to dry up on you.  Clean up is a breeze with this lube, just use soap and water.   Remember it will get slick again when the water hits, so make sure you have a good grip on whatever your cleaning.

A good lubricant is paramount to good sex, especially if it’s anal sex.  If you need a good lube, give this one a try.  The body safe aspects and long lasting slickness will definitely make for some fun in the bedroom.  This is a Babeland product, so you can get it and other sex toys from their website.

Thank you, Bableland, for sending this to me for review!
