Incoqnito Smoke Ring

As a female sex toy reviewer, I don’t often review items specifically designed for men.  When the Incoqnito Smoke Ring became available for review I thought it looked pretty nice for a cock ring.  Obviously, this was going to require a cock to properly review, so I checked to see if my normal co-conspirator and willing tester was up for the challenge.  He agreed to give this cock ring a go, so I requested it for review.  I was actually pretty impressed with it when it came in the mail.  No way could I wait till I was with him to open the package and check out the merchandise, especially since I wouldn’t be seeing him for several more weeks.  The Smoke Ring comes in a nice little box that opens to a nice leather pouch that contains them.  There is also an informational pamphlet with directions on how to use the cock ring.

Removing the ring from the packaging, I gave the beads a solid tug to see how they stretch.  They actually don’t have a ton of give, which is good because that means they’ll be good at restricting the blood flow but also not so great.  The ring un-stretched measures to approximately 6.5 inches long.  In order to put the beads on, you kind of stretch the ends apart and twist it together with the elastic between the beads.  The beads themselves are a smooth dark colored quartz.  Once you have the ends twisted together, you can slide the ring down the penis and over the balls or just over the penis.

So, what’s not so great about the lack of give in the elastic?  Well, that 6.5 inches includes the beads on the ends that are essentially not really ‘available’ length because they’re on the outside of the circumference.  If you are using these on a guy with above average girth (like I was) they are super tight, even on the biggest size.  The elastic was difficult to stretch enough to get the ring over his balls and cock and once it got there was prone to pinching his skin between the beads if they got stretched again at all.  Another problem with the elastic was removal.  If you try to untwist the beads instead of trying to slide the ring all the way back up the cock, your guy is probably going to get an unpleasant surprise…of quartz beads being shot into his balls like out of a sling shot.  Needless to say, that wasn’t really the kind of pleasure and pain mix we were going for.   It very nearly ruined the sex session.

The directions and specs on the Babeland site recommend this cock ring for penis diameters of 7″-9″, so as long as you are within those specs you may have a more enjoyable experience with this cock ring.  The Smoke Ring was quite firm and really did well at restricting the blood flow, but just wasn’t big enough for a larger girth penis.

To care for this cock ring, wash it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.  You can also use a 10% bleach solution on the beads themselves.  Dry and store in the nice leather pouch provided in the package.

I don’t think this is a cock ring that we will be using again.  The sharp shot to the balls from untwisting the beads pretty much turned my partner off.  We had much better results with the Lelo Tor, which is more accommodating to his size and has a nifty vibrator on it for my enjoyment (also available at Babeland).
