Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot Dildo

I thought I’d tried nearly all the different types of materials sex toys are made of until I came across the Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot Dildo.  Acrylic is a hard and smooth material that is non-porous and compatible with both water and silicone based lubes.  It is extremely lightweight and difficult to break, but can be scratched.  This is also a very easy to clean material (water and anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner will do the trick).  Add all of that to the fact that this dildo has a wicked curve and some lovely balls for texture and it was a foregone conclusion that I would want to stick this in my vag.

Not only is the Galaxy G pretty to look at, it also reminds me of one of my all time favorite dildos, the Pure Wand.  The balled end is almost the same size as the larger ball on the Pure Wand and the curves are similar as well.  In fact, the ball of the Galaxy G measures in at 1 3/8 inches in diameter and the Pure Wand‘s large ball measures to 1 1/2 inches in diameter, so very close. As you can see in the pictures, the Galaxy G has a cone shaped end on one side as opposed to a smaller ball, but to make up for that there are two balls that decrease in size as you move towards the cone end.  The total length of the Galaxy G is 9 1/2 inches versus 8 inches on the Pure Wand.

See how close the large balls are in size?

Given the similarities between the two, I couldn’t resist a comparison! I prefer to start with the cone shaped end of the Galaxy G since it is tapered and makes warm up for the bigger end a breeze. The balls can easily be felt during insertion and removal and the acrylic warms up to body temp. I also noticed when washing the Galaxy G that it warmed up so, temperature play is possible though it doesn’t last as long as metal toys.  I found the actual cone end to be a little underwhelming and found I prefer to move on to the bigger end before too long.  The bigger end sells this light little toy like nobody’s business.  The curve of the Galaxy G is slightly more acute than the Pure Wand‘s curve and resulted in a firm pressure inside from me pulling back on it outside. The wand is very easy to maneuver and the large ball hit my g-spot without hesitation. The curve was a bit annoying at times because it curves back and points right at my clit. I was able to maneuver around it for the most part, though. I was also using a bullet vibe on my clit with this that was plastic. If noise is an issue for you, I’d recommend using something that is silicone coated so that if it comes in contact with the Galaxy G there is no clattering sounds.  But anyways…back to the maneuvering….I thrust and thrust and happily thrust with this dildo and it all felt amazing.  In the end, the Galaxy G does not disappoint.

But how does it measure up to the Pure Wand? I have to say it is a close second and definitely a travel friendly version of the Pure Wand. The Pure Wand is just amazing. As much as the weight of it might seem like a deterrent, it actually gives a little something extra to the feeling of the Pure Wand. I don’t even need the big end of the Pure Wand when I jack off with it, the small end gets me where I’m going and the orgasm is ridiculous. I hadn’t used my Pure Wand in a while and I was reminded of exactly why it is one of my favorite toys.

So, while the Galaxy G looks similar and is a hard material it isn’t quite up to the same level as the Pure Wand. I would definitely recommend this for someone who loves the Pure Wand but is traveling and needs something lightweight or for someone on a budget looking for similar stimulation.  The other thing that the Galaxy G that the Pure Wand doesn’t is the extra balls that provide some texture.

If all this sounds good to you, why not give the Galaxy G a try? And if you’re ready for something a little heavier, a little hotter, check out the Pure Wand!  Both will leave you weak kneed and satisfied as they did me!  Thanks to Good Vibes for providing the Galaxy G for review.
